The City of Toledo will host the 2013 National Amateur Baseball Federation (NABF) College World Series August 1st-4th.  Mr. Aaron Meyer will serve as the NABF’s 22 & Under College Age Division Director, he will oversee this segment of the national baseball tournament, which will expand from 16 teams in 2012 to 20 teams in 2013. The tournament will be played at four sites, Ousky Field, Bowman Park, Sylvania Southview High School and Mercy Field, with a 47 game tournament schedule, with the championship game at Mercy Field on Sunday, August 4th at 4:00 pm.

Aaron was asked by Charles Blackburn the Executive Director of the NABF from Maryland to take over the position in 2011.  Aaron monitors all NABF college leagues from coast to coast including overseeing rules and procedures.

Aaron’s qualifications include head high school baseball coach at Otsego High School and Maumee Valley Country Day School and also as an assistant coach at Sylvania Southview High School, St. John’s High School and Waite High School.

Aaron has been a City of Toledo employee for 10 years working in the Department of Neighborhoods, presently working for the Department of Public Service, under the Division of Parks, Recreation and Forestry as Recreations, Athletic Coordinator.
